The mess
We’re operators, not an AI lab. We run real businesses — and when AI exploded, we figured it should change everything. Then we tried to actually use it.
It was a mess. Our business was scattered across a dozen tools that didn’t talk to each other. We were paying for expensive software to answer questions as simple as “what was the ROI on last month’s campaign?” — buried under subscriptions nobody had time to wire together.
Not built for us
And the tools meant to fix it weren’t built for us. The “AI employees” on offer were just another chatbot. The powerful ones needed engineers. The popular ones were busy vibe-coding apps to sell — when we just wanted to run the business we already had. We didn’t want to ship software. We wanted to ask a question and get an answer we could make a real business decision on.
